How instant can you get! As soon as I posted this illustration on Instagram, requests came in. People wanted to have this image as a print. So here is my instant reaction: Now it’s in the shop!

55 years ago today, Instant Karma was released.

How instant can you get?! All on the same day:
Write the song, record it, mix it — with choir and everything — and cut the vinyl!

And for me, it was the first time seeing the amazing Phil Spector in action.
When the backing track was finished, we were asked to come into the control room.
Lights were flashing, and the room was filled with a whole bunch of recording machines.
Phil pressed the “go” button and turned the volume up full throttle.
John and Yoko were holding on to each other, and the band was pressed against the wall
by the wavering sound waves.

It was fantastic. What an experience!
