BIOGRAPHY


 

Klaus Voormann, born in Berlin, April 29 in 1938. Graphic designer, Illustrator, Musician and Producer. Two grammys and many international awards. Amongst other things for the Beatles album cover "Revolver" (1966), "The Beatles Anthology" (1996) and participation in George Harrison’s " Concert for Bangladesh" (1971).

As a musician Klaus played with many artists. He played with Manfred Mann and was a member of John Lennon’s "Plastic Ono Band". Worked for many years as a musician in the U.S.A. and Great Britain with John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Carly Simon, Harry Nilsson and many other rock giants.

From 1981 he produced many artists like the group TRIO in Germany. Lives with his wife Christina and his kids south of Munich and is mainly active as illustrator. He designed more than 100 record and book covers i.e.: The Bee Gees, Turbo Negro, Wet Wet Wet etc...
